Miracle Lake and The House the Mercy Built

Miracle lake is a residential Christian training center for men struggling with life controlling addictions.

The House that Mercy Built is a non-profit, faith-based residential program that seeks to provide a safe environment for women to rebuild their lives outside of chaos, lack of boundaries, and instability.

In 2019, we began donating requested items for these ministries and implemented a special offering collected on each fifth Sunday throughout the year to support these organizations.

Kids Hope USA

Kids Hope USA is a national, non-profit organization that facilitates mentoring relationships with at-risk children through a church-school partnership. Founded in 1993, after asking experts in law enforcement, education, religion and health and human services if churches could address the needs of growing numbers of at-risk children. Mentors stand alongside parents, teachers, principals and counselors to ensure the kids that they are valued and loved. Churches train members to form one-on-one relationships with the youngest children and often form a lifelong bond. We began a partnership with Hardin Valley Elementary in 2009.

Second Harvest Food Bank

Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee envisions adequate nutrition for a healthy life for adults, seniors and children in 18 counties of East Tennessee. Their programs strive to distribute food to every corner of the community, provide educational resources, and end the cycle of poverty. Once a month a group of volunteers help out at the Food Bank in various needed capacities.

Isaiah 117 House

Isaiah 117 provides a comforting environment where children who have been removed from their homes can be brought to wait for foster care – a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. This space allows children to receive the comfort and care they need while child welfare staff can do the necessary paperwork and identify a good placement. We provide clothing and other items when requested.

Sacred Ground Hospice

They provide expert, compassionate care for patients facing the end of life in an environment as warm and comfortable as home. They meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of both their guests and their families. Their staff and volunteers do the care giving which allows the family to spend quality time with their loved ones. We contribute requested needed items as necessary.
